Russian Strike on Zaporizhzhia Injures Three, Damages Homes
Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia on July 4, wounding three people and damaging residential buildings. The attack follows a deadly drone strike the previous day that killed a delivery driver.

On July 4, Russian military forces launched an attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia, resulting in three injuries and damage to houses. Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration, initially reported one injured person but later updated the number to three. The victims are receiving medical treatment.
The assault comes less than a day after a Russian drone strike on the evening of July 3 targeted the city, hitting branch No. 7 of Nova Poshta, Ukraine’s largest private postal and delivery company. That attack killed Valerii Hafykin, a 50-year-old driver for the company.
According to earlier reports, Russian forces have begun mass deployment of an autonomous version of the Molniya strike drone, which is equipped with artificial intelligence, in the Zaporizhzhia region.
