Oleksandr Medvid, acting head of the Borshchahivka village council in Kyiv region, reported that a strike was recorded in the village of Chaiky, located in the Bucha district, during a Russian attack.

Medvid shared the update on Telegram, and the news was also circulated by Kyiv-area news channels. According to him, all relevant emergency services are currently working at the site.

Medvid did not provide further details, but several Kyiv news channels reported that warehouse facilities in the village may have been among the targets hit.

Call for caution

The acting village head urged residents to remain in shelters until the all-clear is given, to avoid approaching the site of the strike, and not to publish photos or videos from the scene, in order to avoid hampering emergency response efforts and prevent sensitive information from reaching the attackers.
