An overnight Russian attack on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro caused a fire to break out at one of the city's industrial enterprises, according to Oleksandr Ganzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

Ganzha stated that the enemy attacked Dnipro and a fire subsequently ignited at an industrial facility. He noted that, according to preliminary information, there were no casualties, though authorities continue to assess the situation.

Explosions overnight

Local media reported that a series of explosions were heard in the city between 1:00 and 1:30 a.m. Ukraine's Air Force had earlier warned of a number of jet-propelled drones heading toward the city.

Official details about which enterprise was damaged and the firefighting response have not yet been fully disclosed, as local authorities continue to gather information about the consequences of the attack.
