Russian Attack on Poltava Region: Two Dead, Number of Injured Rises to 13
Two people were killed and 13 injured, including six children, in a Russian attack on the Poltava district on Saturday.

The number of casualties from a Russian attack on the Poltava region on Saturday has risen: two people are dead and 13 injured, six of whom are children, according to the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Dyakivnych.
Dyakivnych said the enemy strike targeted the Poltava district, hitting the territory of two enterprises. The attack damaged buildings, cars, and nearby residential houses.
"The number of injured has increased to 13 people, including six children. Unfortunately, a body was found under the rubble. Another person died in hospital," Dyakivnych stated.
As a result of the attack, a power outage occurred, and emergency crews are working to restore electricity.
Earlier reports indicated that four children and five adults were wounded in the shelling of Poltava on Saturday, but the figures have since been updated.
