Two killed, four injured in Russian attacks on Sumy region
Russian forces struck the Sumy region, killing two civilians and wounding four others. The attacks involved guided bombs, drones, and artillery.

During the past day, the Russian military launched extensive attacks on the Sumy region, resulting in the deaths of two civilians and injuries to four others, according to the National Police of Ukraine.
Police reported that 17 communities in the Sumy region came under enemy fire. The adversary used guided aerial bombs, attack drones, FPV drones, artillery, and mortars.
In the Bilopilska community, drone strikes killed a 64-year-old woman and wounded two men aged 51 and 66. In the Seredyno-Budska community, a 57-year-old woman was killed when a Russian drone struck a residential building. In the Myropilska community, a drone hit a bicycle, injuring a 69-year-old man. In the Sumska community, a drone strike injured a 44-year-old man.
Law enforcement officers documented the consequences of the attacks, recorded destruction, and collected evidence of Russian war crimes. Criminal proceedings have been initiated for each incident under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
