New Krone headers aim to boost BiG X forage harvester capabilities
Agricultural machinery maker Krone has added a new grass pick-up and a maize header to its BiG X forage harvester range. They are aimed at professional contractors and large-scale operators.

Agricultural machinery maker Krone has widened its forage harvesting range by launching two new attachments for its BiG X forage harvester. A forage harvester is a machine that cuts and chops field crops such as grass and maize so they can be used as animal feed. The new attachments are the EasyFlow Plus grass pick-up and the XCollect 750-2 maize header.
Who the equipment is for
According to the company, both attachments are designed for professional contractors and large-scale operators, for whom running a forage harvester is routine work.
What the manufacturer promises
Krone says both headers are built to improve the flow of crop through the machine and the chopping process. The source text is cut off at this point, so further technical details, pricing and availability dates are not known at this stage.
The announcement concerns the BiG X line, which the company offers as its forage harvesting solution. With the new headers, the manufacturer extends what the system can do when working with both grass and maize, two of the crops commonly grown for livestock feed.
