Latvian professional esports player Marek “YEKINDAR” Galinskis has reached the final of the PGL Masters tournament in Bucharest with the Brazilian team Furia. The event is played in the video game Counter-Strike 2 (CS2). According to the Latvian sports site Sportacentrs, it is the second final of this level in his career. In the semi-final, Furia beat the team MOUZ 2-1 in maps.

Furia won the first map, Dust2, 13:6, but lost the second, Mirage, 9:13. The deciding map, Cache, went to the Brazilians 13:9, even though they lost the opening pistol round. They led 8:4 at the half.

Galinskis finished with a 44-45 kill-death line and a rating of 1.11, which made him the joint third-best performer on his team. Furia's top player was Kazakhstan's young talent Danil “molodoy” Golubenko, with 56-37 and a rating of 1.34.
