Nutrameg, a Latvian-founded company that provides personalised nutrition plans and digital health solutions, has published its first Transparency Report. The document responds to information about the company that recently appeared in the media. In it, the company explains its operations and points to processes it pledges to improve. The report is available at fakti.nutrameg.com.

A transparency report is a document that, especially among large technology companies, is used to show accountability and disclose more data about operations. Co-founders Kristofs Blaus and Egija Seile stress that journalists have every right to ask uncomfortable questions and carry out independent research, but that the company also has the right to clarify published information and fix criticised issues.

Company figures

According to the company, its turnover has grown 26-fold over the past five years, reaching a 100 million run-rate (current performance projected over a year) in the first quarter of 2026. In a Riga Startups comparison of 455 companies, Nutrameg ranks second by absolute turnover growth in euros. Its customers are in more than 200 countries. Latvia's State Revenue Service last year gave it an A rating, the highest for tax compliance, and the company says it has paid 15.8 million euros in taxes since 2024.

What the report addresses

The company says its medical institution is listed in the Health Inspectorate's register (registration date 12 February 2019), and that the historical name SIA SCIENCE22.COM and the current SIA NUTRAPP.COM are the same legal entity. The Dublin "St Mary's Chapel" building, it says, has not been a church since 1962 and is now an office block where its customer support staff worked.

Nutrition method author Elīna Balode worked in 2020 with a certification valid until June 2025; since then the method has been reviewed by certified nutritionist Anna Paula Auziņa. The method holds European and Latvian patents. On reviews, the company says they cannot simply be deleted, and admits that one client's story, Viktors, was used repeatedly in ads across several markets, which it says it has since corrected.
