Latvia's volleyball teams finish European League with matches in Norway and Estonia
Latvia's men's and women's volleyball teams play their final European League matches today—men face Switzerland in Norway, women meet Greece in Tallinn.

The Latvian men's volleyball team plays its last CEV European League match today at 6 PM Latvian time in Volda, Norway, against Switzerland. The game is broadcast live on LTV7 and Lsm.lv. Latvia currently ranks 13th in the tournament with three wins and two losses, while Switzerland is 10th with three wins and one loss. Following restructuring, the European League also serves as part of qualification for the 2028 European Championship. Both Latvian national teams have already secured spots in this year's European Championship finals.
The women's team faces Greece in Tallinn at 4 PM, also aired on LTV7 and Lsm.lv. Latvia has one win (against Iceland) and four losses, placing 16th. Greece remains undefeated and sits 6th. In the world rankings, Greece is 28th, Latvia 65th.
The women's squad includes Marta Kamēlija Levinska, Irbe Lazda, and Elvita Dolotova, among others. The men's candidate list features Toms Vanags, Jēkabs Dzenis, and Gustavs Freimanis.
