LG StanbyME 2 Max: A 32-inch Touchscreen Display for $1,300
LG has unveiled the StanbyME 2 Max, a standalone 32-inch 4K touchscreen display with a 4.5-hour battery life.

LG has announced the StanbyME 2 Max, a standalone 32-inch touchscreen display featuring 4K resolution and a battery life of up to 4.5 hours. Unlike previous models, this device is completely wireless, allowing users to move it freely around the home or office without being tethered to a power outlet. It comes with a floor stand, and the display can be detached entirely.
The display runs a custom operating system that provides native access to streaming apps, FAST channels, and productivity tools, including video-calling capabilities. It is powered by LG's α8 AI Processor Gen3, which automatically optimizes picture and audio based on the content and ambient conditions. The device supports Dolby Atmos and includes side-firing speakers.
For connectivity, the StanbyME 2 Max features traditional HDMI and USB ports, enabling it to be used as a monitor for gaming consoles, laptops, or other devices. It also supports screen mirroring from smartphones.
Compared to the original StanbyME launched in 2021, which offered only three hours of battery life, a smaller screen, and 1080p resolution, the new model represents a significant upgrade. However, the price tag of $1,300 is steep. Notably, the product name is spelled “StanbyME” without the “D.”
