A new initiative has been launched in Liepāja aimed at improving waste management. SIA “Liepājas RAS” has developed a free informational support program designed for both multi-apartment buildings and private houses. The goal is to tailor waste management solutions to the specific needs of each property.

Under the program, the company’s specialists will assess the current situation, focusing on container types, quantity, volume, and placement. They will also analyze collection frequency, sorting options, and methods of informing and involving residents. Based on this assessment, practical recommendations will be provided to improve resource efficiency and reduce waste volume.

Special attention will be paid to identifying problems at waste collection points and potential improvements. Specialists will help determine the necessary container types and quantities, as well as inform about the possibilities for sorting and handing over different types of waste. This program is part of efforts to promote more sustainable waste management in Liepāja and the surrounding area.

The program is free of charge and available to anyone interested. Residents can contact SIA “Liepājas RAS” to receive support.
