London's Claret Capital Partners closes Fund IV at €575 million to back European tech companies

London-based growth debt fund manager Claret Capital Partners has announced the final close of its Fund IV, raising €575 million and exceeding its original €500 million target. The fund will support European technology, life sciences and impact companies.

Claret Capital Partners, an independent growth debt fund manager based in London, has announced the final close of its latest vehicle, the Claret European Growth Capital Fund IV (Fund IV).

The fund has raised a total of €575 million, surpassing its original €500 million target. Of that total, €440 million comes from direct commitments to Fund IV, while the remaining €135 million was raised through an additional structure.

The fund is designed to provide growth-stage debt financing to European companies operating in the technology, life sciences and impact investment sectors. This type of financing allows fast-growing companies to access capital without giving up as much equity as they typically would through traditional venture capital rounds.

The oversubscribed close of the new fund points to continued investor interest in alternative financing models for Europe's tech sector, where companies are increasingly turning to a broader range of capital-raising options alongside conventional venture capital.
