London-based startup Jack & Jill has raised €34.68 million ($40 million) in a Series A round led by Air Street Capital, with new investors Madrona and Antler joining alongside existing backers Creandum, Ada Ventures, Entrepreneurs First, Expedite Capital, Repeat.vc, Dig Ventures, Firedrop, Episode 1 and Playfair.

Founded in March 2025 by Matt Wilson and Saaras Mehan, Jack & Jill runs two AI agents on opposite sides of the hiring process. Jack represents jobseekers, holding voice conversations that resemble career coaching rather than a typical job-search chatbot. The company says users have logged 12,000 hours talking to Jack in recent months, with one person calling 144 times. Drawing on those conversations and a daily scan of millions of open roles, Jack works out what a candidate actually wants, including details that would never appear on a resume.

The second agent, Jill, works for employers — reading job descriptions, researching companies, and sourcing candidates directly from Jack's network rather than an open applicant pool. When both agents agree on a match, the candidate and employer are introduced directly, without a formal application.

Faster growth in the US

The Series A brings Jack & Jill's total funding to €52.9 million ($60 million), following an €18.3 million ($20 million) Seed round in October 2025. Since then, the company's network has grown tenfold to 350,000 professionals, while Jill has worked with 5,000 businesses, including Ramp, Attio, Multiverse and Corgi. Together, the agents have arranged 25,000 interviews and now facilitate 5,000 more each month.

The company, which employs 25 people across London and San Francisco, says traction has been faster in the US than in London, with nearly four times as many interviews completed in San Francisco and New York and revenue up 40-fold since the Seed round. The new funding will primarily support Jack & Jill's expansion across the US.
