LSM board member Aile's income rose by more than half last year
Ieva Aile, board member of the Latvian Public Media (LSM), earned 101,976 euros last year, an increase of 52.2% from the previous year, according to her official declaration.

Ieva Aile, a board member of the state-owned company Latvijas Sabiedriskais medijs (LSM), reported total income of 101,976 euros in 2025, up 52.2% from 2024, according to her submitted declaration.
The largest portion came from her salary on the LSM board – 100,381 euros, which is 58.2% more than her salary at Latvian Radio in 2024. Additionally, she received a 750-euro benefit from the State Social Insurance Agency, 635 euros in compensation from the State Revenue Service, and a 210-euro insurance payout from Gjensidige's Latvian branch.
Aile owns land in Mārupe and co-owns a property in Riga. She possesses a 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan and holds a 1998 Ford Contour. Her non-cash savings at the end of the year totaled 63,359 euros, while her liabilities amounted to 139,588 euros. She also has private pension funds and life insurance with cash accumulation.
As previously reported, the merger of Latvian Radio and Latvian Television began in April 2024, leading to the establishment of LSM on January 2, 2025.
