Peony Collection Blooms at the University of Latvia Botanical Garden
The outdoor exhibitions of the University of Latvia Botanical Garden feature a blooming peony collection of 80 varieties, accompanied by Siberian irises. The garden will remain open during the Midsummer holidays.

The peony season has begun at the University of Latvia Botanical Garden. The collection includes 80 peony varieties and 6 species. Alongside classic 19th-century French varieties known for their strong fragrance and large blooms, visitors can also see modern cultivars from Lithuania, the United States, and other countries.
The peony collection is part of the garden's herbaceous plant collection, one of the largest, comprising over 1,600 different plants. Simultaneously, a Siberian iris collection is also in bloom, with its cool tones complementing the peonies' color range.
To allow visitors to enjoy the peonies at their peak, the garden will be open during the Midsummer holidays on June 22, 23, and 24, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
