On October 10, the Madona municipality area known as 'Smeceres sils' will host a Hard Enduro motorcycle competition. The event is listed as an A-category competition under the Latvian Motorsport Federation (LaMSF), underlining its high sporting level and its significance within the national enduro calendar.
The competition will bring together both Latvia's strongest riders and brave enthusiasts eager to test their skills and their machines. Participants will compete across hilly, mountainous terrain, considered one of the most demanding types of ground in the hard enduro discipline.
A demanding discipline
Hard enduro is a motorsport discipline in which riders navigate difficult, uneven terrain — often featuring steep climbs, rocks, and other natural obstacles. Competitions of this kind demand excellent physical conditioning, precise riding technique, and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure, where a single mistake can cost valuable time or position.
Organizers of MADONA HARD ENDURO are inviting enduro enthusiasts to come to 'Smeceres sils' and put themselves to the test on this challenging course. The competition will offer a chance to compare the performance of both experienced athletes and newer riders on one of the toughest terrain sections found in Latvian motorsport competitions.
Because the event is organized as an A-category competition, it will feature Latvia's top riders, making it a significant test for enduro sport at both the regional and national level.
