BidScript, a Manchester-based AI-native tender management platform, has announced a €701,000 ($800,000) pre-seed funding round, bringing its total pre-seed funding to over €876,000 ($1 million). The round includes follow-on investment from NPIF II – PXN Equity Finance, managed by PXN Ventures as part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II (NPIF II), alongside new investment from SFC Capital.

The platform helps businesses find, qualify, manage, write, and submit bids for public and private sector contracts. Founded in 2023 by childhood friends Henry Brogan and Tyler McCarthy while they were still at university, BidScript focuses on the construction and engineering, IT, and education sectors. According to the company, early customers in the UK, US, and Middle East have seen win rates improve by up to 50% using its AI technology.

Henry Brogan, co-founder and CEO of BidScript, said: "General-purpose AI does not meet the standards required for high-stakes public and private sector tendering – it’s a niche that demands deep expertise. BidScript embodies that exact principle, and this latest funding round will allow us to take the next step on our journey as we expand into new markets and geographies."

Harry Manley, Investment Associate at PXN Ventures, commented: "Our investment into BidScript was one of the first cheques written following our inaugural PraeSeed programme, and watching the business grow in size and stature since then has been inspiring." Ed Stevenson, Principal at SFC Capital, added: "Henry and Tyler are tackling a problem most people overlook; the antiquated system of managing public and private contracts. They’ve built real traction early, and their sector focus and commercial discipline are exactly what we look for at pre-Seed."

The latest funding will enable BidScript to continue building its team, develop its product suite further, and expand into new markets both domestically and internationally. The raise comes amid significant investment activity in European procurement, RFP automation, and vendor intelligence in 2026, with EU-Startups reporting approximately €49.4 million in rounds across comparable companies including Paris-based Pivot, Bolzano-based Soource, Košice-based Definic, Helsinki-based Realm, Sofia-based Mandel AI, and Munich-based Ark Climate.
