Borussia Mönchengladbach beat Stuttgart 3-2 away in round seven of Germany's Bundesliga, collecting their first points of the season. They came from an early goal down after six straight defeats.

Borussia Mönchengladbach won 3-2 at Stuttgart in the seventh round of the Bundesliga, Germany's top football division, to take their first points of the season. The club had lost its first six league matches, so the win lifts it to three points, though it remains last in the table.
Stuttgart score early
The hosts, who also play in the UEFA Champions League, had drawn 1-1 at home with Atletico Madrid, and changed more than half of their starting line-up for this game. They still took the lead in the fifth minute, when Bosnian forward Ermedin Demirovic struck a long-range shot that goalkeeper Moritz Nicolas failed to hold (1-0).

Stuttgart pulled one back in the 83rd minute, when Demirovic headed in a cross for his second of the match. The score did not change after that.
