The remains of American musician Oliver Tree have been transported to the United States after a fatal aviation accident in Brazil. A statement on the musician’s Instagram account confirmed that Oliver has returned to California, where he can finally rest.
Tree’s family plans to fulfill his last wish by creating a charitable foundation named "Dr. Oliver Tree’s Extremely Epic Grant For Baby Geniuses." According to the statement, this was something Oliver had arranged before his passing, recorded in his will. The foundation aims to spread more joy, love, and art around the world. The message also thanked fans for their unwavering love and support during this difficult time.
The tragic incident occurred on the morning of June 14 in the western part of Rio de Janeiro, when two helicopters collided mid-air and crashed into a populated area. One of the aircraft fell onto a car dealership lot, sparking a fire that was later extinguished. Oliver Tree was in Brazil as part of his world tour and was aboard one of the helicopters along with a producer, a video director, and a content creator from Argentina. Brazilian authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
