Little precipitation expected in Latvia next week, but roads may ice over
Latvia faces cloudy weather with brief rain and fog in the coming days, with skies clearing more often from Tuesday. Icing is possible on some road sections at night and in the morning.

Weather in Latvia this weekend and on Monday will be cloudy, with brief rain, drizzle and fog in places. There will be little or no wind. From Tuesday conditions will change, and drivers should be prepared for possible icing on roads during the night and morning hours.
Weekend and Monday
Across most of the country, morning air temperatures will range from 0 to +6 degrees Celsius, and from +5 to +9 degrees around midday. Saturday should be about one degree warmer than the other days in this period. Winds will be light, and in places absent altogether.

Starting Tuesday, winds from the west and north will blow from light to strong. Skies will clear more often, with occasional brief precipitation. On some nights temperatures will fall below zero in places, most often in the eastern part of the country. In such conditions, icing is possible on certain road sections at night and in the morning. On the warmest days the air will warm to between +6 and +11 degrees.
Six-week outlook
