Three killed as Ukraine and Russia trade attacks overnight
Russian overnight attacks killed two in Ukraine, while Ukrainian strikes on Russia and occupied territories killed one and injured ten.

Overnight into Saturday, both sides in the conflict launched attacks, resulting in at least three deaths. Russian forces used drones and aerial bombs to strike multiple Ukrainian regions.
In Sumy region, which borders Russia, a drone attack on a house killed a 66-year-old man, while another massive attack elsewhere in the region injured ten people. In Dnipropetrovsk region, local military head Oleksandr Ganja said over 30 drone and bomb attacks targeted two districts, killing one person. In the southeastern city of Zaporizhzhia, nine people, including two children, were injured; a residential high-rise was partially destroyed, and rescuers pulled two people from the rubble.
Ukraine retaliated with strikes on Russian-controlled Horlivka in Donetsk region, killing one woman, and on Volgograd region, where industrial facilities were damaged and ten people injured. President Zelenskyy stated that FP-5 Flamingo missiles successfully struck the Titan-Barrikady plant, which produces artillery systems and components for missile launchers.
In recent weeks, Ukraine has intensified attacks on Russian logistics, including in Crimea and near Moscow. Zelenskyy noted that Russia has relocated air defense systems from regions to Moscow and the Kerch Bridge in response to Ukrainian deep strikes.
