Emergency medics assist heat-stricken individuals, including children

The Emergency Medical Service responded to calls for heat-related health issues, with children among the victims. Medics note that warnings are being ignored.

Over the past day, the Emergency Medical Service (NMPD) has responded to several calls regarding health problems caused by the heat. Among those affected were children. These incidents confirm that people are not always heeding heat warnings. Even being in a pool does not prevent overheating, according to the situation. NMPD medics provided assistance to those who suffered from the heat.
