Nothing teases Phone 4b, its first B-series budget phone, launching July 7
Nothing has revealed the Phone 4b, an entry-level device that marks the first in its B line of smartphones. The launch is scheduled for July 7 at 6 AM Eastern time.

Nothing has announced the upcoming release of the Phone 4b, which will be the company's first entry in its new B series of entry-level devices. The launch is set for July 7 at 6 AM Eastern time. The company has been teasing the phone on X with illustrations and animations.
Based on what has been shown so far, the Phone 4b will look similar to the Phone 4a released earlier this year, but with a five-panel glyph bar instead of seven. The glyph bar is a vertical rear-panel lighting interface that can be assigned specific lighting patterns for different notifications.
The Phone 4b has also appeared on Geekbench, revealing it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset and have 8GB of RAM. Co-founder Akis Evangelidis explained that the B series "builds on the success of the A series by expanding into a new segment, while maintaining a clear product hierarchy." The A series remains the company's "most premium line" below its flagship devices without a letter designation, with the B series below it.
CMF, Nothing's budget brand, is for even more affordable devices. However, CMF recently said it will not release a follow-up to its Phone Pro 2 this year due to high RAM prices. Evangelidis stated that the subsidiary cannot build a phone that "feels like a genuine step forward at a price that makes sense for CMF" at the moment.
