Notus Developers selects contractor for Nemunaičiai project in Kaunas
Notus Developers, part of SBA group, has chosen Eikos Statyba as the contractor for the construction of five apartment buildings in the Nemunaičiai residential area in Kaunas. The project marks the first residential construction for Eikos Statyba in Kaunas.

SBA group company Notus Developers has announced the selection of construction firm Eikos Statyba to build five apartment buildings in the new Nemunaičiai residential district in Kaunas. The project is positioned as an exclusive residential development with the highest quality standards.
Partner statements
Giedrius Cvilikas, head of Notus Developers, emphasized that collaboration with a reliable long-term partner will allow them to offer buyers impeccable quality homes and ensure a smooth construction process. Almantas Čebanauskas, CEO of Eikos Statyba, stated that the company will leverage its 16 years of experience to achieve top quality and meet all client expectations.
Eikos Statyba's experience in Kaunas
While Eikos Statyba primarily handles residential, commercial, and public projects in Vilnius, they have previous experience in Kaunas: in mid-2020, they reconstructed the northern platform of Kaunas Airport, and earlier this year, they built a surface parking lot for Kaunas Clinics. The Nemunaičiai project will be their first residential construction in Kaunas.
Demand and location
Egidijus Ripkauskas, head of real estate development at SBA Urban, noted that demand for prestigious housing in Kaunas has increased and remains strong. Of the five buildings under construction on the banks of the Nemunas River, only one-third of the apartments are still available, and that number is rapidly decreasing. The project is situated on the left bank of the Nemunas River at H. ir O. Minkovskių Street, directly adjacent to the river.
Future area developments
Several future projects are planned in the area: the M. K. Čiurlionis Concert Centre on the left bank, and on Nemunas Island, the Science Island and a Water Sports Centre with an Olympic swimming pool. Pedestrian bridges will connect the two riverbanks: a bridge from Karaliaus Mindaugo Avenue to Nemunas Island will be completed soon, followed by a bridge from the island to the left bank.
