November Worksheets for Preschoolers: Latvia's Birthday and Lāčplēsis Day
The Latvian news portal LSM has published printable worksheets for preschool-aged children on November themes. The main topics are Latvia's birthday and Lāčplēsis Day.
The Latvian news portal LSM has published a new set of printable worksheets for preschool-aged children in its section for parents and children. The materials are built around November themes, and parents or teachers can print them out and use them in activities with children.
The set centres on Latvia's birthday, which is marked on 18 November. The authors invite all residents of the country to celebrate it.
Lāčplēsis Day
November also includes Lāčplēsis Day. On this day people are encouraged to honour the country's defenders and to learn about the history of how the Latvian state was formed. The worksheets are meant to bring these subjects closer to children.
According to LSM, the month's worksheets also cover other topics, but the source does not specify them.
