Vladimir Saldo, the head of the Russian-installed occupation administration in the Kherson region, complained on social media about drone strikes on bridges that have been closed after damage.

According to Saldo, a night attack damaged the bridge near Chongar again, completely blocking traffic through the "Dzhankoi" highway. The strikes also hit the bridge connecting Henichesk with the Arabat Spit, and traffic on it has been halted. Saldo stated that the danger from drones persists, so experts will only assess the extent of damage after permission from operational services.

Previously, it was reported that traffic between occupied Crimea and the Kherson region near the damaged Chongar bridge is being carried out via a pontoon crossing, where a line of trucks has formed, according to satellite images taken on June 12.

On June 11, the occupation authorities said that several bridges on the road to Crimea near Armyansk were hit in a night attack. The same night, explosions were heard in occupied Crimea, and public channels reported damage to bridges at land entrances. The Russian occupation administration declared that fuel would not be sold in the city that day because fuel trucks could not enter.

On June 9, Saldo complained that after a night attack, allegedly by Ukrainian drones, the bridge near Chongar was damaged again. The Chongar bridge is one of two road routes from mainland Ukraine to the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula. Satellite images show black spots from strikes on the bridge.
