Ostapenko rises two spots in WTA rankings
Alona Ostapenko has moved up two places in the latest WTA singles rankings to 29th. Other Latvian players also saw changes in the rankings after Wimbledon.

Latvia's top tennis player Alona Ostapenko has climbed two spots in the latest Women's Tennis Association (WTA) singles rankings, now occupying 29th place. The change follows Wimbledon, where Ostapenko reached the third round.
Latvia's second-ranked player Darja Semeņistaja moved up one position to 103rd. Meanwhile, former player Anastasija Sevastova, who has retired, dropped seven places to 293rd. Beatrise Zeltiņa achieved a career-high ranking by moving up one spot to 445th. Sabīne Rutlauka improved by 14 places to 713th, while Adelīna Lačinova fell 127 positions to 775th.
Other Latvian players: Elza Tomase rose 73 places to 792nd, Kamilla Bartone (801st) and Diāna Marcinkēviča (814th) held their positions, Daniela Vismane gained 72 spots to 1046th, Daniela Dārta Feldmane gained 73 spots to 1241st, and Anna Ozerova moved up 11 spots to 1510th.
In the world rankings, Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka remains No. 1, followed by Kazakhstan's Elena Rybakina. American Jessica Pegula has moved up to third. American Coco Gauff climbed three spots to fourth. Russian Mirra Andreeva is fifth, Czech Karolína Muchová is sixth, and her compatriot Linda Noskova, after her Wimbledon win, is seventh. Poland's Iga Świątek dropped to eighth, American Amanda Anisimova is ninth, and Ukraine's Elina Svitolina rounds out the top ten.
In doubles rankings, Ostapenko fell seven places to 17th. Semeņistaja is 173rd, Zeltiņa 415th, Tomase 534th, Sevastova 537th, Bartone 652nd, Marcinkēviča 773rd, and Feldmane 951st. Czech Katerina Siniaková remains the doubles leader.
