Pagani Huayra 70 Derecho – an exclusive anniversary hypercar

Italian hypercar manufacturer Pagani Automobili has created a special trilogy of models to celebrate founder Horacio Pagani's 70th birthday. The first was the Huayra 70 Trionfo, and now the second, the Huayra 70 Derecho, has been publicly shown for the first time at the prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Although the Huayra was replaced by the new Utopia in 2022, Pagani still builds unique versions upon customer request. The Huayra 70 Derecho's body is made from specially treated carbon fiber composite, one of the brand's signature technologies. The car features a two-tone paint scheme – orange and blue – along with a special herringbone carbon fiber weave pattern.

Aerodynamic solutions are largely borrowed from the Huayra 70 Trionfo. A new front bumper with vertical daytime running lights, massive side skirts, and an air intake channel connecting to a large central fin and rear wing are present. Compared to the standard Huayra, the diffuser is significantly larger and houses four exhaust pipes. Lightweight titanium seven-spoke wheels were created specifically for this anniversary model.

The interior is dominated by white and blue leather with small orange accents. Traditional Pagani details – handcrafted metal elements, mechanical switches, and top-quality materials – are retained. One of the most notable features is the manual gearbox, a rarity in modern hypercars. The seven-speed Xtrac transmission is paired with a 6.0-liter V12 biturbo engine from Mercedes-AMG, producing 864 hp and 1100 Nm of torque. Power is sent to 21-inch rear wheels, and top speed is approximately 350 km/h.

The official price has not been disclosed, but given Pagani's exclusivity, it is expected to exceed several million euros.
