Pegula's marathon win over Swiatek sets up all-American Cincinnati final
Jessica Pegula outlasted Iga Swiatek in an almost three-hour match to reach the Cincinnati Open final, where she will face fellow American Coco Gauff. It will be the first all-American women's final at the tournament in 56 years.

Third-seeded American Jessica Pegula defeated six-time Grand Slam champion Iga Swiatek 7-5, 4-6, 6-4 in a contest that stretched to nearly three hours and featured 13 breaks of serve.
Speaking after the match, Pegula said the level fluctuated throughout, making it hard to get a consistent read on how the match was going, with breaks trading back and forth. She said she tried not to let those swings frustrate her, though she admitted the encounter had been emotionally draining.
An all-American showdown
Pegula will now face Coco Gauff in Sunday's final, after Gauff defeated unseeded Czech player Sara Bejlek 6-4, 6-1 earlier on Saturday. The matchup marks the first all-American women's final at the Cincinnati Open in 56 years.
The last time two Americans met in the final was in 1970, when Rosie Casals beat Nancy Richey.
