Latvia can expect mostly dry and sunny weather on Friday, 16 October, according to forecasters. Clouds will partly cover the sky, but the sun will shine between them.
The weather in the country is being shaped by an anticyclone, a high-pressure system, so no precipitation is forecast. Sea-level atmospheric pressure will range from 1022 hectopascals in Ventspils to 1028 hectopascals in Latgale.
Wind and temperature
The wind will be light to moderate, blowing from the south and southwest. Along the coast, gusts may reach 14 metres per second.
In the afternoon, air temperatures will rise to between +11 and +16 degrees Celsius.

In the capital, dry and generally sunny conditions are expected. The wind will be light to moderate from the south, and the temperature will reach +14 degrees Celsius.
