Applications for cancer risk genetic testing at Stradins hospital exceed available tests
The number of applications for free hereditary cancer risk genetic testing at Pauls Stradins Clinical University Hospital significantly exceeds the 100 tests available. Participants will be informed by phone whether they can have the test.

Interest in free genetic testing for hereditary cancer risk at Pauls Stradins Clinical University Hospital (PSKUS) is higher than the hospital had planned for. The number of applications is well above the 100 tests that were available on 14 October.
Because there are more applicants than tests, the hospital will contact participants by phone. During the call, they will be told whether they can undergo the examination.
The testing is intended to assess hereditary cancer risk and is free of charge. The hospital itself reported the high number of applications.
