Piltene to Celebrate City Festival with "Pērkons" Concert and Luminous Art Exhibition
From July 18 to 25, Piltene will host its city festival featuring a run, creative workshops, a market, a concert by legendary Latvian rock band "Pērkons", a dance party with "Hono", and an international luminous art exhibition "Peace".
Piltene's city festival will span several days, starting with warm-up events on July 18. The day includes the Piltene run, organized by "Matisons Runner's Club", with registration available at "www.sportlat.lv". Simultaneously, Piltene Park will offer creative workshops for children, pony rides from Pope, and a craft and local producer market. During the event, tickets for the main concert can be purchased at a special discount.
The festival's highlight will take place on July 24 at 7 PM at the Piltene outdoor stage, where the legendary Latvian rock band "Pērkons" will perform. After the concert, celebrations will continue with a dance party featuring the band "Hono". Concurrently, in the old park near the stage, the international luminous art exhibition "Peace" will be on display. It showcases works by professional Latvian and Lithuanian artists, each expressing their personal interpretation of peace through color and symbolism.
The exhibition will be open on July 24 and 25, with a special evening viewing on July 25 starting at 9 PM, allowing visitors to experience the artworks in a unique nighttime atmosphere. The festival promises a rich cultural program for both locals and visitors.
