Rietumu Bank awards scholarships for outstanding economics master's theses for the first time

Rietumu Bank has awarded its newly established scholarships for outstanding master's theses in economics for the first time. The scholarship program was created on the bank's own initiative.

The goal of the initiative is to encourage academic research that contributes to the development of Latvia's economy. It is also intended to strengthen cooperation between three sectors — higher education, business, and the financial industry.

Through this scholarship, the bank demonstrates its interest in supporting the academic community and fostering a closer connection between scientific research and the practical economic processes taking place in the country.
