Grab discounted Xbox consoles before prices jump
Microsoft announced a price hike for all Xbox models in August, but Prime Day deals offer discounts now, including the Xbox Series X for $573 and Xbox Series S for $350.

Microsoft announced today that prices for all Xbox models will increase in August, marking the second price hike in less than a year as memory prices continue to impact industries from automobiles to computing. Fortunately, ahead of these increases, Prime Day deals are already available.
The 1TB Xbox Series X with a disc drive is discounted to $573 at Walmart and $573.99 at Target, a significant drop from the regular $649.99. This model, which includes a 4K Blu-ray player, will cost $799.99 in just over a month. It is recommended for those looking to play Grand Theft Auto VI later this year.
For the disc-free Xbox Series S, the 512GB model is on sale at Dell for $349.99, currently the best deal, while Target offers it for $379.99. The usual price is $399.99, rising to $499.99 in August. Both consoles are available at reduced prices while supplies last.
