Starting September 1, users in the UK, France, Italy, and Spain will lose access to hundreds of Studio Canal films they bought on the PlayStation Store, as Sony’s licensing agreement with the studio expires. The company sent notices to affected customers, stating the movies will be deleted from their video libraries. No refunds are mentioned. This situation mirrors a previous case in which Sony planned to remove Discovery shows but later renewed the license.
