Putin publicly acknowledges Russia's fuel supply problems for first time
Russian President Vladimir Putin admitted during a government meeting that the country is facing fuel availability issues, with queues forming at gas stations and some gasoline grades in short supply.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin publicly acknowledged for the first time on Tuesday, June 28, during a government meeting that Russia is experiencing problems with fuel availability.
He stated that queues have already formed at several gas stations and that the required gasoline grades are not always available. To address the shortage, the country has started using its strategic fuel reserves.
Putin also revealed that a complete ban on diesel exports is under consideration. At the same time, he claimed that major oil refineries are operating at maximum capacity and that the country's gasoline reserves amount to 1.7 million tons.
