A motorsport event, the “Latvija Rudens” regularity rally, will be held in Latvia on 31 October. In this format the winner is not the fastest crew but the most precise one. Entries are open until 27 October, and basic information about the route and schedule has already been published. Among the participants will be Krišjānis Caune, a driver in the FIA Eco Rally World Cup, whose crew finished tenth overall at the end of the 2026 World Cup season.

Route and participants

Crews will face four tests, with a total competitive distance of 58.84 km over asphalt and gravel regularity sections. All participants will compete in a single scoring class, “Regularity”, but three types of vehicles are allowed: historic cars, street-legal motorsport models and electric cars.

Schedule for the day

The event day begins at 14:00 with administrative checks, followed by technical inspection of the cars at 14:30. The rally starts at 16:30 and finishes at 21:05. An awards ceremony for the most precise crews is planned for 22:45 in the office building of the Bikernieki Complex Sports Base.

Previous year

The “Latvija” regularity event was also held last autumn. The most precise among all eco rally participants then were Edgars Enkurs and Raivis Ozoliņš, who finished ahead of both Krišjānis Caune and Anrijs Šimks, and Agris Staņēvičs and Jānis Kirkovalds.

Registration

The supplementary regulations and the entry form are available on the official website of the Latvian Rally Championship, autorally.lv. The deadline for entries is Tuesday, 27 October 2026, at 18:00.
