Riga Woman Andžela Reveals: A Man Paid Her Debt and Bought Clothes After Responding to Her Ad

Andžela, a resident of Riga, recently recounted an unusual incident that changed her life. She had placed an ad offering cleaning services, and a man responded, needing help cleaning a house in Baloži. According to her, while she worked, they started talking, and she told him about her financial difficulties and apartment debt.

After the cleaning was finished, the man drove her home. There, he took out a stack of money and counted out 400 lats – at a time when the lat was still in circulation – telling her to pay off her debt. The next time she cleaned for him, he suggested going to a store and bought her three pairs of shoes, a skirt, a jacket, a dress, and other items totaling 700 lats. Andžela admitted that at the time she wore very shabby clothes, and his generous gesture deeply moved her.
