First day of Riga Music Week festival held in Riga

The first day of the music festival Riga Music Week has been held in the Tallinas iela quarter in Riga, Latvia. The event is devoted to the Latvian music industry, and its programme was put together by industry organisations and representatives.

Who built the programme

The concert programme was created by Summer Sound, I Love You Records, Bobe, Sofar Sounds Riga, Still Figure, Every Little Thing, LAUSKA, All Folked Up, the news portal TVNET and the Riga Music Week team itself.

What comes next

The festival continues on 6 November at other cultural venues in Riga. The schedule includes SNACK, a showcase of young artists from the experimental music festival Skaņu mežs, a concert by the band Very Cool People at the Splendid Palace cinema, and the Riga Music Week Club Night at the club M/House of Jazz.
