Cyclist Mārtiņš Pluto to stay with Lithuanian team Energus next season
Latvian road cycling champion Mārtiņš Pluto will continue riding for the Lithuanian continental-level team Energus. This year he won the Latvian national title and stages at two international races.

Latvian road cyclist Mārtiņš Pluto will represent the Lithuanian continental-level team Energus again next season, the squad has announced, according to the LETA news agency. Continental teams form the third tier of professional cycling, below the top-level teams, so such squads are an important platform for Baltic riders.
Pluto, 28, became Latvian road race champion this year. The past season was his first with Energus.
Results last season
In addition to winning the national title, Pluto took victory in one stage of the Tour of Estonia and one stage of the Baltic Chain Tour. He was also one of the helpers of Toms Skujiņš at this year's world championships in road cycling.
Earlier career
Before joining the Lithuanian team, Pluto rode for continental-level teams in the Netherlands.
