Truck Crashes into House Yard in Ropaži; Owner Avoids Tragedy by a Hair's Breadth
A truck veered off the road and crashed into a house yard in Ropaži, narrowly avoiding tragedy as the homeowner had planned to mow the grass just there moments before but changed her mind.
A traffic accident occurred in Ropaži when a truck left the road and entered a house yard. Fortunately, no residents were injured, but the situation was critical.
The homeowner, Ludmila, said she learned about the incident from a neighbor. She had heard noises but thought they came from the road. A friend called and told her to look out the window, where a car was standing in her yard. Ludmila admitted she was a hair's breadth from disaster – shortly before the crash, she had planned to mow the grass exactly where the truck hit, but changed her mind at the last moment.
The State Police suggest the accident was caused by the driver's sudden health issues. The driver could not fully explain the circumstances and did not remember anything, so he was handed over to medics and taken to a medical facility.
The accident circumstances are being clarified, and police continue the investigation.
