116 new nurses graduate from RSU

Riga Stradins University graduated 116 new nurses today, who will immediately join the healthcare workforce.

On Monday, June 18, 2026, Riga Stradins University (RSU) held a graduation ceremony for 116 new nurses. The graduates received their diplomas and took a professional oath, allowing them to start working in the healthcare system as early as the next day.

Most of the new specialists have already secured jobs, primarily at Latvia's largest hospitals. They are not afraid of the demanding work or night shifts, but they highlight the relatively low pay in the profession as a significant challenge.
