Newly elected MP Mackevičs released as director of Biķernieki Primary School

Aleksejs Mackevičs, who has been elected to the Saeima, Latvia's parliament, for the party "Latvija pirmajā vietā" (Latvia First), was released on Monday from his post as director of Biķernieki Primary School, the news site TVNET reports.

Mackevičs is also a member of the Augšdaugava municipality council in Latgale, where he represents the group "Sarauj, Latgale!". Until now he headed Biķernieki Primary School.
