During the current Saeima term, deputies have been paid over one million euros in compensation, mostly for rental costs. The highest recipient is Līga Kozlovska (ZZS) with €39,000.

Since the start of the 14th Saeima, compensation payments to deputies have exceeded one million euros, with the bulk covering rental expenses, according to data compiled by the program "Panorāma."
Compared to previous terms, the total compensation amount has not changed dramatically: in the 13th Saeima it was slightly under one million euros, while in the 12th it reached 1.2 million euros.
The largest total compensation – €39,000 – went to Līga Kozlovska of the Greens and Farmers Union (ZZS), whose registered residence is in Balvi municipality. Nearly €33,000 of that sum was for apartment rent in Riga. Second is Ramona Petraviča from the party "Latvia First" with €36,000; she comes from Saldus municipality. Third is Līga Kļaviņa (ZZS) from Jēkabpils municipality, receiving €35,000 overall, including €31,000 for rent.
