Samoilova/Graudiņa and Točs/Auziņš Reach Majori 'Futures' Finals
Latvian beach volleyball duos secured their places in the finals at the Majori Futures tournament, with Samoilova/Graudiņa defeating Estonians and Točs/Auziņš beating a Croatian pair.

At the Beach Pro Tour (BPT) 'Futures' event in Majori, both Latvian pairs – Anastasija Samoilova/Tīna Graudiņa and Edgars Točs/Gustavs Auziņš – won their semifinals on Saturday and Sunday and will compete for the titles.
In the women's competition, world champions and top seeds Samoilova/Graudiņa defeated Estonia's Eva Kuivonen/Liisa Jürgenson (6th seeds) 2-1 (17:21, 21:12, 15:8). In the final, they will face Denmark's Clara Windeleff and Astrid Mellmelle (3rd seeds), who beat Spain's Marta Márquez de Acuña and Adriana Ferro (4th seeds) 2-0 (21:15, 21:11) in the semifinals.
In the men's tournament, third-seeded Latvian duo Točs/Auziņš overcame Marko Makarić and Đorđe Klasnić (9th seeds) 2-0 (21:16, 21:12) in the semifinals. The other semifinal pits home favorites Artūrs Rinkevičs/Ardis Daniels Bedrītis (1st seeds) against Ukraine's Ivan Datsiuk and Oleksii Bublyk (2nd seeds).

A total of 24 countries are represented across both tournaments, including participants from Scandinavia, Brazil, Spain, Germany, Poland, Australia, Uruguay, the USA, and Canada. Latvia's top men's pair Mārtiņš Pļaviņš/Kristians Fokerots are not competing this time.
The qualification round featured 16 teams per gender competing for eight spots in the main draw, which consisted of 24 teams per gender. In the 'Pro Beach Tour' ranking, 'Futures' is the third tier behind 'Elite 16' and 'Challenge' events.
