Samsung announced the Galaxy Book 6 Edge, a new addition to the Galaxy Book 6 series featuring a Snapdragon X2 Elite processor with up to 80 TOPS AI performance, a 16-inch 3K AMOLED display, and 22-hour battery life. Price: $2,100.

Samsung is expanding its Galaxy Book 6 laptop series, which initially launched in the US in March, with a new model: the Galaxy Book 6 Edge. Unlike the existing Intel-powered models, this one runs on a Snapdragon X2 Elite chipset. Samsung claims Qualcomm's processor delivers up to 80 TOPS of AI performance.
The laptop features a 16-inch 3K Dynamic AMOLED 2X touch display with an anti-reflective coating and an adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass DX. Automatic brightness and contrast adjustments make it suitable for outdoor use.
Galaxy Book 6 Edge comes with quad speakers supporting Dolby Atmos and integrates with other Galaxy devices, allowing wireless file and photo transfers from a supported phone. Ports include one HDMI 2.1, a microSD slot, one USB 3.2, two USB 4.0 ports, and a headphone/microphone combo jack. It supports Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 7.
The battery offers up to 22 hours of video playback, and with the included 65W adapter, it can charge to 40% in 30 minutes. The laptop weighs 3.42 pounds and is under half an inch thick. It is available in a single configuration: 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of storage. The price is $2,100.
