Samsung Unveils Galaxy A27 5G with Larger Display and AI Features
Samsung has launched the Galaxy A27 5G, featuring a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, and several AI-powered functions.
Samsung today unveiled its latest mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy A27 5G. It succeeds the Galaxy A26 5G and brings several notable improvements.
The phone features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The Infinity-O design minimizes the front camera cutout, and smaller bezels maximize usable screen area. The device is only 7.8 mm thick for comfortable handling.
Powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, the Galaxy A27 5G promises smooth performance for multitasking and gaming. The 12 MP front camera has been enhanced to capture more detail in various lighting conditions.
A suite of AI features, branded “Awesome Intelligence,” is included. “Circle to Search” now allows searching for multiple objects in an image at once and offers virtual clothing try-ons. An improved “Object Eraser” removes unwanted elements more accurately. “Voice Transcription” converts speech to text and translates it across 22 languages. The phone also supports AI assistants including Google Gemini, Perplexity, and Samsung Bixby.
Samsung guarantees six Android OS and One UI upgrades, plus six years of security updates. Data is protected by Samsung Knox and Knox Vault.
The Galaxy A27 5G will go on sale on July 3 in black, blue, light green, and light pink colors.
