Content creator Jana Bruk: more reflection and conversation in her social media posts
Latvian social media personality Jana Bruk says her content now leaves more room for reflection, though her provocative image has not disappeared. She describes the shift as a natural one.

Latvian content creator Jana Bruk told the news site Delfi that her social media content has recently included more reflection and conversation, rather than only provocative posts. Her Instagram account has 65.2 thousand followers and her TikTok account more than 20 thousand, a notable figure by Latvian standards.
Part of her audience first got to know her as a bold, sexualised blonde who is unafraid to show her body. She says she has not given up that image: the content is still a little "spicy", and she enjoys sharing topics such as self-acceptance, the body, sexuality and how to be a modern woman. At the same time, she is showing a warmer and more positive side.
A natural change
Jana says she cannot point to a specific person or incident that made her change her content; it simply happened naturally. She began thinking about it after a conversation with her coach, who asked whether she felt she had changed. She admits she liked the earlier period, when she was "crazy" and provocative, and feels no shame about it. In her view, that energy now simply shows up in a different form, and it would be odd to stay the same forever.
She recalls that at the start she was an ordinary girl with insecurities, whom nobody knew but who wanted attention. By her own account, her self-esteem was close to zero.
The audience has changed with her
Jana says followers who have been with her for years have changed too. Earlier, young women wrote that they wanted to be as bold and open as she was; now the conversations cover femininity, life values, goals and the different ways sexuality can be expressed.
Men's feedback has also surprised her. The same men who once urged her to post more explicit content now write compliments about her mystery and femininity.
