Sennheiser unveils Accentum Clip open-ear earbuds with nine-hour battery life
Sennheiser has announced the Accentum Clip, a new open-ear earbud design featuring 12mm drivers, dynamic EQ, and a clip-on fit. The earbuds offer nine hours of battery life, IP54 rating, and multipoint Bluetooth, with a staggered rollout starting in select regions.

Sennheiser is entering the open-ear earbud market with the Accentum Clip, a clip-on design that wraps around the ear using a flexible silicone bridge. Each earbud weighs 6.8 grams, which the company likens to a hotel room key card.
Inside, 12mm dynamic drivers promise clarity and punchy bass with smooth treble. A Dynamic EQ adjusts the tuning at lower volumes to maintain audio quality. Through the Smart Control Plus app, users can access a 5-band EQ, shareable audio presets, and a Sound Check tool for personalized settings.
According to Sennheiser, the speaker geometry and dampening keep sound directed into the ears rather than leaking out. Touch controls handle volume, playback, and calls. The Accentum Clip has an IP54 rating for dust and sweat resistance.
Battery life is up to nine hours on a single charge, with the charging case providing three additional full charges. Multipoint Bluetooth allows connection to multiple devices, and the earbuds can be used individually. A dual-microphone setup with AI-powered noise reduction enhances call clarity.
The only downside is availability: Sennheiser is using a staggered rollout, starting in Canada, China, Central America, and South America. The earbuds will later launch in the UK and Europe, with no mention yet of other regions, including the US. The price is $269.95 CAD (approximately $190 USD).
