Saturday Weather in Latvia: Rain, Thunder, and Gusty Winds to Disrupt Garden Work

According to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre, Saturday, July 4, will be cloudy with rain showers and thunderstorms. Rain clouds will develop throughout the day, covering most of the country, with the highest probability of heavy rain in western and central regions.
In coastal areas, west and northwest winds will gust up to 15–19 meters per second. Elsewhere, wind will strengthen only during thunderstorms. Maximum air temperatures on Saturday will be between +17°C and +22°C.
In Riga, clouds will bring rain, with possible thunderstorms and heavy showers from midday. Light to moderate west and northwest winds will blow, and the air will warm to +20…+21°C.
